During her press tour for Fifty Shades Freed, Dakota Johnson relied on slinky dresses from Prada and Versace. But last night in Las Vegas, the actress took a more modest approach to her dress. Johnson appeared in Attico’s long-sleeved, yellow velvet dress and immediately lit up the red carpet.

The piece felt modern yet opulent due to the rich, saturated lemon hue and clever design details like a ruched waist. The lampshade silhouette, which has also been worn by Sienna Miller (in Gucci) and Ruth Negga (in Valentino), was given extra wattage thanks to Johnson’s Gianvito Rossi silver strappy sandals.
